The Nashville Police Department had a busy week last week, after responding to 20 calls. A Nashville resident was arrested on Thursday, February 14th, after being stopped by officers. The arresting officer saw 39-year-old Carlyle Miller, who advised that he had just moved to Nashville from Rockford, Illinois, when it was discovered that Miller had a warrant out for his arrest from Winnebago County. He was then taken into custody and charged with the warrant. Officers conducted a search warrant to a Nashville home, along the 100 block of East Angie Street, where cannabis, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia was discovered. 28-year-old Steven Graham was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of between 100 to 500 grams cannabis, intent to deliver cannabis, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, intent to deliver a controlled substance and a civil citation for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was another resident of the household, 30-year-old Amy Dodge of Nashville, for unlawful possession of between 30 to 100 grams of cannabis and for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. The two were then placed on felony hold in Washington County. A traffic stop was conducted on Saturday, February 16th, which was initiated along the 100 block of West St. Louis Street in town. 41-year-old Brian Gorman, of Red Bud, was arrested after being pulled over, where he was charged with unlawful possession of a mylar sticker, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of under 5 grams of meth.
