The Nashville High School District 99 Board of Education met on Monday for a regular monthly meeting.  At that meeting, they approved a new policy for tardies at the school, which was announced by Principal Mark Bergando.  Also approved was a 2019-2020 lease levy and the NCHS school handbook.  $20,000 was approved to be moved from Working Cash to the O&M Fund, $48,682 to the Transportation Fund from Working Cash, and $12,000 to the Bond and Interest Fund, from Working Cash.  All 3 of those transfers will be paid off and sent back to Working Cash from the inter fund loan.  It was announced that graduation will be this Sunday, May 26th at 2pm for all graduating seniors at the school, with graduation being held at the Assembly Hall.  Superintendent Brad Turner also announced that the track re-surfacing project will begin on May 29th, with the roof replacement project happening that same week.  It was announced that the NCHS board will be meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 630.  Also the next board meeting was set for 6pm on June 24th at the NCHS conference room.  After meeting for closed session, multiple hirings were approved.  That included Jennifer Olson as the Cross Country Coach, Kaily Maschhoff and Morgan Fox as Cheerleading coaches, Jean Orr and Jordan Love as Cross Country Volunteers, Lucas Welte as a summer technology worker, and a 2019-2020 transportation contract.  The next meeting, which will include an amended budget hearing, is set for Monday, June 24th at 6pm.
