A teacher and baseball coach from Johnston City has been arrested and charged with 5 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, plus 4 counts of criminal sexual assault out of Williamson County.  The Illinois State Police reports that 50-year-old Trevor Clark, of Pittsburg, was arrested on Friday, after a joint investigation with the Johnston City Police Department.  Clark has had 2 stints as the baseball coach for the high school, 1st from 1998 to 2011, then from 2014 to now.  Clark is currently being held at the Williamson County Jail on $500,000, with his Class 2 charge carrying a possible sentence of 3 to 7 years and his Class 1 felony carrying a possible sentence of between 4 to 15 years.  The Johnston City School District did put out a statement, saying that they were made aware of the arrest on Friday and will pursue their own investigation into the situation.
