ALMA — Margaret Jean Spangler, 64, of Alma, Illinois passed away at her home on May 28, 2022, in the loving care of her family.

Born April 5, 1958, in Salem, she was the daughter of Charles Roscoe and Mary R. (Hays) Atteberry. Her father preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in the chapel of Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will follow at Summit Prairie Cemetery. Margaret is survived by her daughters Jennifer M. Nix and husband Joe of Salem, IL and Janice Michele Spangler of Alma, IL. Also her grandchildren Kara Nix, Andria Nix, Travis Nix, Logan Nix and Joshua Spangler, and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Brian Atteberry of Kinmundy, IL.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by an infant sister.
