SALEM – A 25-year-old Salem man was arrested Saturday night on multiple charges after allegedly firing a gun into his home.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Zacharia Hodge reportedly fired one shot into his home on Red Stripe Road following a disagreement inside the residence No injuries were reported.

Salem firefighters had responded to the home earlier in the night when a truck that was being scrapped caught fire. The vehicle was destroyed in the blaze.

Hodge was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of methamphetamine, and criminal damage to property.
