MARION COUNTY — A 48-year-old Centralia woman pleaded guilty to the lesser of two charges accusing her of making threats towards the Centralia City Grade School principal in September.

Stephanie Crossland was initially charged with Class 4 felony threatening a school building or person, along with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Crossland pleaded guilty Tuesday to the misdemeanor charge in exchange for the felony being dismissed. She was ordered to pay a $200 public defender fee.

Court records say Crossland made the threat during a phone call with Centralia City Grade School Superintendent Craig Clark.

She allegedly told Clark during the phone call she might grab the principal by the hair and beat her.
