CENTRALIA — The Centralia Community Youth Center will be searching for a new Executive Director, as current Director Herb Williams announced Friday afternoon that he’ll be retiring at the end of this month.

Williams announced the decision, saying it came after much reflection, prayer, and thought. He said his time with the Center has been a fruitful ride and that the center is much better today than it was ten years ago.

While he plans to leave his role as Executive Director, he says he has enjoyed serving in that role and looks forward to continuing to support the youth in Centralia in a different capacity and continuing to support the Youth Center in a different role.
