JEFFERSON COUNTY — Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men Tuesday in Mt. Vernon on out-of-state warrants charging them with sexual assault.

According to the sheriff’s department, deputies and Mt. Vernon police officers assisted the US Marshal Fugitive Task Force in an attempt to locate 24-year-old Blake Christie at a residence on Hemlock Court, and 22-year-old Ethan Christie at a separate residence on Hemlock Court in Mt. Vernon.

Blake and Ethan were transported to the Jefferson County Jail where they both were charged with Sexual Assault warrants from Michigan. They remain in the county jail awaiting extradition back to Michigan.
