Aydan Creed Morgan, age 21 of Mt.Vernon formerly of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at his home.

Aydan was born on November 24, 2003, in Centralia, Illinois, the son of Chris Kelly and Melissa Morgan.

Survivors include his parents, Chris Kelly and wife Amanda of Salem; Melissa Morgan of Centralia; son, Waylon of Pana; siblings, Jayda Hunt, Skyler Downes, Aryana Morgan, and Akriah Morgan; grandparents, Bill and Clarita Stachowski of Junction City, Lisa Morgan of Centralia, and Sheila Ciaglo of Salem; aunts and uncles, George and Jayme Godoyo of Centralia, Mike and Lynn Kelly of Shelbyville, Indiana, and John Kelly of Junction City; along with several cousins.

Aydan was a proud member of the Boy Scouts of America all the way through high school.  He had a love for sports cars.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and camping.  He was employed at Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon and was recently working at Jimmy Johns.

Graveside services for Aydan Creed Morgan will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem with Roger Lipe officiating.  There will be a visitation on Tuesday from noon to 2:00 p.m. at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem.  Memorial contributions can be made to the family and will be received at the funeral home.  Online condolences and memories can be left at www.CrouseFH.com.
