The Washington County Health Department will host an enrollment event as part of the statewide “Drive to Coverage” campaign.  This Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM, the Washington County Health Department will host an enrollment event to encourage Washington County community members to enroll in the new health insurance plans available through the Health Marketplace as a part of the Get Covered Illinois “Drive to Coverage” campaign.  This statewide campaign is to encourage Illinois residents to take an active role in learning about the coverage options available to them before the December 23^rd deadline for coverage on January 1, 2014.  More than 250 partner organizations across Illinois are joining the “Drive to Coverage” effort.  Specially trained counselors, called Navigators, will be present to assist residents and answer questions in person for free.
