The Nashville Police Department responded to 9 incidents over the past week, as well as 4 accidents.  These incidents included an unruly suspect, suspicious noise, mail theft, a drive off of gas from BP, and a suicidal subject at the Washington County Hospital ER.  They initiated a traffic stop on Sunday afternoon on 20-year old Cody J. Slaton of Addieville.  He had outstanding warrants from Washington and Clinton Counties for Failure to Appear.  He was also cited for Driving While License Suspended.  There were 2 accidents on the Nascote Industries parking lot last Monday and Tuesday with fender benders.  Also, last Tuesday just after 12 noon, there was a 2-vehicle accident on South Mill Street at East Adams, as 84-year old John Giovanetti of Nashville allegedly failed to yield the right of way while on East Adams and crossing South Mill.  He hit a vehicle driven by 30-year old Karin Kozlowski of Carbondale.  There was no mention of any injuries and no citations were issued.  Early Thursday morning, 49-year old Natalie Morgan of Nashville hit a deer on Route 127 near the Citgo.  She did not sustain any injuries.  Motorists are advised to be aware of deer in this section of Route 127, as many accidents involving deer have been reported in the past month.
