This is a big weekend for shoppers.  It’s Black Friday, but you may want to save some of your money for Santa Saturday in Nashville.  Stores are having great savings and the Nashville Chamber of Commerce will have lots of fun as they want shoppers to shop locally.  Santa arrives at 12:30 PM and will be visiting with kids until 4 o’clock at his house in front of the Washington County Courthouse.  Pam Smith of the Nashville Chamber talks about what is offered for the kids, while mom and dad shop.  The Chamber Office will be open during that time for craft making or they can see a free movie at the Nashville Theatre at 2 PM, as it is sponsored by the Nashville Moose Lodge with a free soda and popcorn from the Fraternal Order of Police.  The movie is the blockbuster hit, Big Hero 6.  Sonya’s Dance Studio will perform at 1 PM and the Nashville High School Madrigals will be on the Courthouse steps with holiday song at 2 o’clock, while there will be other goodies out by Santa’s House, courtesy of the Washington County Hospital.  It’s a big weekend for retailers and a good way to keep those dollars in Nashville is to visit the stores on Santa Saturday.
