WJ Bookkeeping and Tax Service in Okawville, has received a couple phone calls this week from tax customers stating that the IRS has phoned them demanding money.  The Okawville Police have also received calls regarding the same problem.  They report that this is a scam that continues to be a problem, and has been reported in other counties.  The IRS never initiates phone calls to taxpayers, so do not give out any personal information, especially social security numbers.
