WNSV, a Dana Communications Station, has pledged to participate in the Illinois Broadcasters Foundation scholarship program in 2012. WNSV has pledged to award one scholar a $500.00 scholarship in which, as long as funds remain available, the Illinois Broadcasters Foundation will match up to $500.00. The scholarship is to be applied toward scholars choice of Illinois College or University offering a major in Telecommunications or Broadcast Journalism or that has a Radio/TV facility on campus. Scholar must have defined a major in or related to journalism, broadcast engineering, programming, on-air.
