According to authorities, a 22-year old Woodlawn Grade School Cheer Coach was killed Sunday afternoon in a head-on collision on Route 15.  The accident happened around 2:30 PM on Route 15 at Drivers Lane near Woodlawn.  According to a Jefferson County Deputy Coroner, Krista Storment was pronounced dead shortly before 3 PM.  Four other people were injured in the incident, with two airlifted for medical care.  Route 15 was closed to westbound traffic at Shilo Drive in Mount Vernon and eastbound traffic at Woodlawn Road in Woodlawn.  The road reopened around 4:15 PM.  The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
