The Nashville City Council will have a hearing on the proposed property tax increase for the Nashville Public Library at 6:45 tonight.  They will have their regular meeting at 7 PM at City Hall.  They will go over an ordinance for the Tax Levy, hear about the K-9 Program, get some information about the holiday trash pickup schedule, the Christmas tree pickup schedule and the compost closing.  They will also go over information and possible bids for carbon material for the sewer system pipes, purchase equipment for the water plant, discuss a change to the new Street Department shed, get the Treasurer’s report and go over various insurance policies that are due for renewal.  The public is invited to attend.
