The Washington County Coroner presented his yearly report to the Washington County Board at their meeting Tuesday night.  Mark Styninger reported that his office received 119 calls and they investigated 37 of them.  There were 108 deaths due to natural causes in the county with 9 accidental deaths, which was up from the previous year.  There was one suicide death and no homicides.  The Coroner performed 3 autopsies and 13 toxicology tests were performed, up in 2014 due to more accidents.  There were 21 cremation permits issued.  Styninger said he applied for a grant and receive one for $4,300, which went to portable radios for he and his staff of Deputy Coroners.
