Nashville Police Chief Brian Fletcher warns citizens of a scam involving the IRS.  The NPD received a call a week ago from a resident that had been called by someone claiming to be with the IRS and said the family was on the watch list and the family owed money, so they should send it to this individual.  Residents are warned to not give out any important information over the phone if you receive any type of call like this, but also not to send money.  Hang up and call the IRS if you are concerned.
