The Nashville Police Department was very busy again this past week.  They responded to a fender bender on the parking lot of Hardee’s last Monday afternoon, while they responded to another fender bender on the Kroger parking lot on last Tuesday afternoon.  There was another accident on Saturday night on West Second Street near North Frank Street, as a pickup truck driven by a 16-year old male juvenile from Nashville, drove into a parked tractor trailer truck owned by Beelman Truck Company.  There were no injuries and no citations issued.  Last Monday, they arrested 52-year old Debbie D. Pierce of Nashville, as they responded to a call from Dollar General on Mercantile Drive for a female subject attempting to steal a purse.  They located her at her residence on West Alton Street, arrested her and charged her with Retail Theft.  They also arrested 32-year old Kenneth D. Abernathy of Nashville on a Washington County warrant.  Last Monday, they took a report of fraud from someone on the 1,600 block of South Loreno Drive, took a report of IRS fraud from a person on the 800 block of East Adams Street, got a report of a phone scam from a resident on the 1,100 block of South Washington Street, and responded to Community Avenue for the report of 2 missing juveniles, who were located by officers at a nearby home.  On Tuesday, they responded to the 300 block of East Maple Street for a domestic dispute, responded to a 911 hang up on the 1,000 block of Community Avenue and one at Innertech.  On Wednesday, the NPD took a report of IRS fraud from a resident on the 100 block of Masonic Drive, took a report of identity theft from a person on the 500 block of West Center Street, arrested Salvador Tapia of Hoffman for Driving With No Valid Driver’s License, responded to a call from the 800 block of South Mill Street for a child custody dispute, responded twice to McDonald’s for 911 hang up calls, as well as one on the 700 block of South Mill Street and went to a call of a domestic disturbance on the 800 block of South Mill Street.  On Thursday, officers responded to an alarm on the 900 block of East Saint Louis Street, took a report of IRS fraud from a resident on the 1,300 block of West Jefferson Drive, responded to the 200 block of West Walnut Street for a parking complaint and took a report of property damage from a resident on the 500 block of East Maple Street.  On Friday they took a report of property damage from the 500 block of East Lebanon Street.  Then on Saturday, they took a report of phone harassment from a resident on the 100 block of East Angie Avenue, assisted with a property exchange on the 600 block of South Kaskaskia Street, took a report of a gas drive-off from Citgo and arrested Christopher Nance of Nashville for Driving With No Valid Driver’s License.  On Easter Sunday, the NPD responded to the 1,500 block of West Saint louis Street for a civil dispute and responded twice to the Spectrum House on West Goodner Street for an uncontrollable resident.
