The 10th Annual Rotary – Kaskaskia College Friends of the Fine Arts Scholarship Evening will be held on Saturday, April 18th. For the first time, the event will take place off-campus at the Centralia Cultural Society’s Community Arts Building, located at 1250 East Rexford. This year’s evening of entertainment will feature cabaret performances by the Kaskaskia College Blues Choir, the Kaskaskia College Student Jazz Ensemble and the KC Theatre Guild. Specialty hors d’oeuvres and a dessert buffet will be prepared by the Kaskaskia College Culinary Arts and Catering Department. A silent and oral auction will continue throughout the evening. Festivities will begin at 5:30 PM with food, drinks and entertainment throughout the evening. The event ticket price is $30 per person and includes 2 drinks, the specialty hors d’oeuvres, dessert buffet and entertainment. All proceeds from this fundraising event will support Fine and Performing Art student scholarships, programs and enrichment grants at KC. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
