The Washington County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on Friday and arrested 61-year old Roland Akin of Ashley for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful participation in methamphetamine production.  He was also cited for speeding.  A passenger in the vehicle, 22-year old Keith Gregg of Centralia was arrested for unlawful participation of meth production, while another passenger 20-year old Christopher Gallatin of Centralia was arrested for unlawful participation of meth production, unlawful possession of meth precursor, unlawful possession of meth, and unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe.  Gregg and Gallatin are being held on $40,000 bond, while there is no other information on Akin at this time.  Then on Sunday, they responded to the Venedy area in reference to an aggravated assault.  According to that report, 24-year old Sarah E. McManus of Nashville was driving a mini-van in a manner that placed 3 individuals standing on the shoulder of Route 177 near the Driftwood Inn Tavern in Venedy, in danger of being hit by her.  The victims were Joshua L. Baum, Anthony S. Dell and Belinda C. Dell.  McManus was located at a building on the 100 block of North Mill Street in Nashville by the Nashville Police Department and was taken to the Washington County Jail.  She has been charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Assault and her bond has been set at $10,000.  When she gets out of jail, she is not allowed to have any contact of any kind with the 3 victims.
