The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline nationwide went up significantly again in the past week, as it is now at $2.58 per gallon, up from $2.49, while it was at $3.69 per gallon one year ago.  There was an increase in Illinois for the past week, as it went up from $2.57 per gallon of regular gas to $2.64 this past week.  It also went up significantly in Nashville from around $2.35 per gallon to $2.45.
