An Ashley woman was injured in an accident on Saturday morning. According to the report, 61-year old Vickie L. Spitzengel of Centralia was on 5th Street in Centralia, turning onto Elm Street, but struck a vehicle driven by Karen S. Wiebler of Ashley. Both were transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries, as was a passenger in Spitzengel’s vehicle. Spitzengel was cited for Disobeying a Traffic Control Device.
