There was a house fire on Thursday afternoon at 442 West Saint Louis Street in Nashville.  According to the report a motorcycle battery had been set up against the back of the house and the positive post was making contact with a steel gas line.  Eventually it caused a spark and the back siding caught fire.  The back deck and back exterior of the home burned badly, but the fire did not get into the home.  No one was injured, as fortunately, there was no gas in the line, as it had been off.  Fire departments from Addieville and Hoyleton assisted.
