The Illinois State Police announces the arrest of former Washington Park Police Officer 52-year old Kevin McAfee.  He was arrested and charged with official misconduct, stalking, and two counts of criminal damage to property.  The charges stem from an incident that occurred at the Washington Park Police Department while McAfee was on duty.  McAfee has since resigned.  On May 6, 2015, the ISP responded to a disturbance at the Washington Park Police Department.  An investigation was conducted and it was determined that McAfee had entered the Washington Park Police Department and damaged items owned by the department.  McAfee was arrested yesterday without incident.  He posted bond and was released.  This case is pending trial and no further information is available.
