The Nashville Police Department was not as busy this past week, as they had been in the past couple of months. They responded to several accidents, but also took a complaint of threats by phone from someone on the 600 block of West High Street on last Monday. A week ago, they assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with an unruly inmate. On Wednesday, they responded to the 500 block of East Elm Street for an animal complaint and went to the 1,300 block of South Mill Street for a call about ministerial alliance assistance. On Thursday, the NPD responded to an alarm on the 17,000 block of Mockingbird Road, responded to the 200 block of East Saint Louis Street for a suspicious person, took a report of telephone harassment from a person on the 300 block of West Chester Street and responded to the 700 block of South Mill Street for a suspicious vehicle. On Friday, officers responded to an alarm on the 18,000 block of Route 15, went to the 200 block of North Washington Street for a city ordinance violation and responded to an alarm on the 1,500 block of South Mill Street. Finally, on Saturday, they assisted EMS with a medical call on the 600 block of South Mill Street, responded to the 100 block of East Angie Avenue for a report of theft from a vehicle and went to a call of domestic disturbance at a residence on the 400 block of East Elm Street and then arrested 39-year old Steven Martin of Nashville for Aggravated Domestic Battery.
