Rhutasel and Associates, Incorporated of Centralia made a generous donation supporting the Kaskaskia Engineering Association, the student club of the Kaskaskia College Pre-Engineering Program.   Club sponsor and Pre-engineering Professor Eric Hofelich said that Gary Hahn, Structural Department Head and Treasurer of Rhutasel and Associates, indicated that he believes in hiring locally when possible, and that the KC Pre-Engineering Program is an important step in creating local engineering graduates.  Other KEA sponsors include Nascote Industries and Korte Company, among others.  These donations will go towards funding club t-shirts, a club banquet, a field trip to an engineering company and toward the club project, an Arduino-programmed RC Car, which will be able to sense objects and self-navigate.
