There was a ribbon cutting for a business that opened up the middle of last month in Nashville.  Uniquely Yours featuring Erin’s Sweet Bow-tique is located across from the fire station on West Saint Louis Street.  The owners are Alyssa Schomaker and Erin Gale.  Schomaker says they felt there was a need for a store like theirs for the area and they wanted to have something unique and different from the other stores in town.  They feature many homemade items.  Schomaker says her specialties are jewelry, door hangings, wreaths and furniture work, while Gale does tutus, bows and dancewear. In fact, Gale says they can accommodate anyone, as they can custom make your order.  The building has been refurbished, but it has kept much of the old uniqueness of the original inside.
