Last Wednesday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office handled a traffic crash on Black Diamond Road. According to the report, Mason Snead of Nashville lost control of his vehicle and it overturned into a culvert. The sheriff’s department also assisted the Illinois State Police on two incidents. On Tuesday, a deputy assisted the Illinois State Police with traffic control on Interstate 64 near the 57 mile marker. The sheriff’s office also responded to a one-vehicle crash on I64 at the 37 mile marker. Illinois State Police responded and took a report. The sheriff’s office took a report of debris in the roadway on State Route 127 near County Highway 22 on Thursday, on Saturday looked into a report of a suspicious vehicle in rural DuBois, and on Sunday the sheriff’s department was in Hoyleton for a property exchange.
