Area law enforcement had only a couple of accident calls in the last week. Last Wednesday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Raven Road near State Route 160 where a vehicle driven by Jerry W. Roesener of Nashville failed to yield while backing up and made contact with a vehicle driven by Diana L. Harre of Nashville. On Saturday, Nashville police handled a one-vehicle traffic crash on East St. Louis Street west of Reservoir Road in a which a vehicle driven by Daniel Haege of Nashville struck a deer that ran into the roadway. An accident report was completed on scene. No injuries were reported in either incident. Last Monday, a sheriff’s deputy responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in Beaucoup and cleared debris off of US Route 51 south of Richview. The sheriff’s office and Nashville police assisted the Washington County Ambulance Service on a medical call at a business in the 11,900 block of Mockingbird Road in Nashville.
