It was a busy week for arrests for area law enforcement. Last Monday saw the Nashville Police Department make an arrest during a traffic stop. Bryant Nolan of Mill Creek was pulled over and subsequently arrested for driving while license revoked. He was also issued a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and civil citations for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also issued a verbal warning for a defective windshield. Nashville police performed two arrests on Tuesday, starting with an officer taking Taylor Karch of Nashville into custody for failure to appear at a court. She was taken to the sheriff’s office without incident. Also on Tuesday, a traffic stop resulted in a Granite City man being taken into custody on drug charges. According to the report, Nashville Police performed a traffic stop on a car being driven by April Wilkinson of Granite City and containing three passengers. The officer reportedly detected an odor of cannabis and did a search, which resulted in the arrest of one of the passengers, Robert Spratley Jr. of Granite City, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of cannabis. He was taken to the Washington County Jail and placed on a felony hold. The driver, Wilkinson, was issued a verbal warning for failure to signal. A Trenton man was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday. Deputies responded to a disturbance call in Addieville where David Lilley was arrested on charges of battery. Also on Wednesday, Nashville police assisted staff at the Washington County Jail with an unruly inmate. Sheriff’s deputies arrested James Vuichard of Tilden Thursday on a Washington County warrant. On Friday, a deputy arrested Harlis Moulton of Kell for driving while revoked and he was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Moulton was also given a verbal warning for improper display of registration/no front license plate. A traffic stop led to another arrest on Friday when a Nashville officer pulled over a vehicle that reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign. During that stop, police found that the driver, Britt’ny Kueker of Centralia had a warrant for her arrest in St. Clair County. She was also issued citations for failure to stop at a stop sign and for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was taken to the Washington County Jail without incident.
