The Nashville Police Department responded to 28 calls this last week. On April 24th, there was a report of trespassing to a vehicle at the 100 block of East 3rd Street and also on the same block and street, there was an attempted break in on a garage. The 24th also saw a Murphysboro man arrested. Dalton Craig was arrested on the 1500 block of South Mill Street for an assault. Two days later on April 26th, another break-in was reported, this time on the 200 block of North Broadway street. That same day, somebody was robbed and called Nashville police about the case. That occurred on West Belleville Street. On April 27th, there were three separate burglaries to motor vehicles. The 3 break-ins saw 2 on the 400 block of West Maple Street and one the 400 block of West Adams Street. Another motor vehicle was broken into on Friday April 28th on South Community Avenue. That makes it 6 different cases of robberies or trespassing to a vehicle and one attempted break-in to a garage this week. Also on Sunday April 30th, Nashville PD helped assist jail staff with an inmate.
