The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to 17 reports this past week. On Tuesday April 25th, 22-year-old Ronnie Brown III of Pevely, Missouri, surrendered himself in for having 2 outstanding warrants in Washington County. They were for failure to appear and a probation violation. Brown also had an outstanding warrant in the state of Missouri. A Centralia resident was arrested on Thursday April 27th. Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 28-year-old Brock Linder of Centralia for having a warrant at the Illinois Department of Corrections. A one-vehicle wreck occurred on Saturday. Jessica Lea, age 32 of Tilden, lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree on Weaver Creek Road, which is near Jimtown Road. Lea needed to treated for her injuries sustained at the Sparta Community Hospital. Another accident was reported on Sunday and Washington County Sheriff’s Officers responded. It was another one-vehicle crash where Chester resident, 19-year-old Lucas Doiron, lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail. The accident was in direct connection to the pavement having water. No injuries were reported on this case.
