A Mt. Vernon teenager is arrested after attempting to break into a Salem home and fleeing police.  18-year-old Donovan Hamilton was reportedly wanted in Jefferson and Marion counties for having an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  Police in Salem found and approached him Tuesday while he was at Bryan Memorial Park.  He gave officers a false name reportedly and after they found out his real name, he fled on foot.  30-minutes later, police spotted Hamilton trying to enter a home, but being forced out on the 400 block of Boone Street.  Hamilton was apprehended by police officers a short distance away and was arrested.  Apparently, Hamilton forced his way into the home after he pushed the homeowner against a table in front of her children.  She was then able to force him out of the home just as officers were arriving to arrest him.  The mother did suffer minor injuries after the scuffle with Hamilton.
