Nashville and the City Council met this last Thursday for a meeting.  The Street Committee had a few items to discuss.  Sometime this week, a mosquito sprayer, which will cost roughly just over 1,100-dollars, will be arriving.  It is a Cougar Sprayer, which the city will own so they can spray for mosquitoes.  Training to use this equipment is set for June 7th and 8th.  The New summer hours for the Street Department will be from 6am to 230pm.  The Water and Sewer Committee brought up an update for SCADA, which is the computer system that they use.  Potrotti was approved to be the new system used by Water and Sewer.  2 people were hired to be part-time summer.  Caleb Lyons will be working as the summer help in water and sewer.  Steve Royce also got approved as a new hire for the street department.  Logan Gill, who was approved last meeting as a new hire for the street department, started working.  The Nashville Golf Course will be hosting a Ladies Golf Tournament on June 10th.  They are currently still accepting hole sponsorships, which is 100-dollars per hole.  For more information, call Joyce Sheridan at 327-82-28 on this golf tournament.
