Rauner currently faces a March 20th primary challenge against Wheaton Republican Jeanne Ives. Rauner has raised $3-million in the last quarter and spent $13-million in campaigning. He currently has $56-million in the bank. Billionaire Pritzker has raised $21-million and has spent $13-million as well. He has nearly $8-million in his bank. Pritzker primary challengers include Senator Daniel Biss of Evanston and Chicago businessman Chris Kennedy. They have raised a little over $1-million apiece, but Biss has $3-million left to Kennedy’s $737,000. Ives took in $434,000 and has $662,000 in the bank.
