A man from Kell was airlifted to a St. Louis University Hospital on Sunday, following a single-vehicle crash. The 62-year-old driver, whose name is being withheld at this time, was traveling along Stuber Road, just off of Kell Road, when his truck left the roadway, went up into the wooded area and stuck a tree head-on. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and report that due to the extent of the mans injuries, it was decided that he be transported to an area hospital though a medical helicopter. The helicopter would land at the nearby Kell School. The extent of his injuries are unknown. He was reportedly driving with a revoked license at the time of the crash.
