The City of Nashville will be hosting their All Trash Days on Saturday, May 12th, from 8am to 4pm. Items that residents want disposed of must be taken to the collection site near the Compost and Brush sites at the end of North Washington Street in Nashville. Unacceptable items include shingles or roofing materials, demolitions, hazardous waste, nuclear waste, liquid waste, such as paint, paint thinner or oil, medical waste, grease trap waste, tires, yard waste, such as glass clippings or limbs, batteries, mattresses or box springs or electronics. White goods, such as refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, freezers, ac units, dehumidifiers, ovens, stoves, washers, dryers, water coolers, heat pumps, chillers, furnaces and boilers will be accepted. Doors must be removed from all refrigerators and freezers. The recycling truck is still currently unavailable, since it needs repairs.
