The Nashville Police Department responded to 38 calls this past week. On Monday, May 21st, officers arrested James Graham, in regard to a theft of a license plate. Officers booked Graham along the 100 block of East 3rd Street in Nashville, for possession of the stolen plate. On Thursday, May 24th, two Nashville residents were arrested for having outstanding Washington County warrants. 18-year-old Austin Dockins and 32-year-old Betty Hughes were both arrested for failure to appear warrants. There was also a report of vandalism along the 600 block of South Lafayette Street in Nashville and a report of vehicle theft. A Murphysboro woman was arrested last Friday, in regard to possession of meth. 24-year-old Nicholas Alan Bastien was found passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle at the Circle K Gas Station in Nashville. Bastien was blocking the north entrance to the parking lot at around 1114pm on Friday. Once officers arrived, he was found to be under the influence of drugs and was taken to jail. He was charged for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. On Saturday, May 26th, officers arrested 38-year-old Mark Crymes Jr., of Fairview Heights for driving while having a revoked license and for illegal transportation of alcohol. Two gas drive-offs were reported on Sunday and Monday. On Sunday, someone drove off from Citgo after filling up with gas, and on Monday someone drove off from the Casey’s station in Nashville.
