A Centralia man faces a minimum of 15 years in prison, when he faces his sentence on 3 counts of a federal indictment on drugs and weapons charges. 26-year-old Ryan Jacklin had plead guilty to possession of over 84 grams of methamphetamine, following a traffic stop in Richland County, where he intended on distributing meth. Jacklin also plead guilty to possession of a loaded .357 handgun at the time of the traffic stop. He also admitted to officers that from about 2014 till September 12th, 2016, he conspired with other individuals to manufacture and distribute between 1.5 to 5 kilograms of a mixture and substance containing meth in Marion and Washington counties. Federal documents show that Jacklin plead guilty last month to those 3 counts, but he still faces a 4th federal indictment charge. His next scheduled appearance will be on September 24th. He faces between 15 to 20 years in federal prison, after that 4th charge. Jacklin has been in police custody since his February 2017 arrest, following the traffic stop in Richland County.
