A woman from Chicago is arrested, after a Saturday medical alarm went off to a home in Centralia. Officers responded to the call along the 1100 block of McKee Street, which was pressed on Saturday, after 34-year-old Earticca Johnson allegedly pushed and threatened a woman over 60-years-old, who was sitting outside of her home. Johnson was then arrested and charged with alleged aggravated battery, aggravated assault, interfering with a 9-11 call, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also added a charge of resisting arrest, after becoming uncooperative with police and threatening multiple to the police department that she would burn down the victim’s home. The incident reportedly began when Johnson allegedly threatened to burn down the woman’s home and pushed the woman down, when she was trying to get up from the steps that she was sitting on in front of her home. Johnson will remain in jail, which she awaits for formal filing of charges and for bail to be set.
