Nashville District 49 will be having their kindergarten registration for the 2019-2020 school year at the Primary School Office on Monday, March 18th. Students do not need to attend the registration, but hours of operation will be done between 730am and 530pm. Any child who enters Kindergarten must be at least 5-years-old on or before September 1st, 2019. Parents are required to submit a copy of the child’s certified birth certificate and a verification of in-district residency. Illinois State School Code requires a copy of the certified birth certificate upon registration, so they will not accept a hospital certificate. Parents who know that their child will be attending Nashville Primary School next fall, need to fill out a registration packet, and get that packet to the school ahead of time. To pickup your packet, go to the Primary School Office, or call 327-43-04 and have one mailed to your residence. All paperwork, including an enrollment form, residence form with a driver’s license having a current address, a birth certificate, kindergarten physical and a verified copy of immunization records must be present prior to the 1st day of kindergarten. Again that registration day for Nashville’s Primary School and their kindergarten enrollment for next year will be on Monday, March 18th from 730am to 530pm.
