Darrell Sullens, age 63 of Iuka, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at SSM St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Darrell was born on October 18, 1962, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Max and Mary (Flynn) Sullens.

Survivors include his siblings, Jeannie Robb and husband Tracy of Cedaredge, Colorado, Marcia Tannahill and husband Walter of Woodlawn, Brian Sullens and wife Mary of Lakeland, Florida, Andrew Sullens and wife Deana of Iuka, and Timothy Sullens and wife Cindy of Iuka; special friend, Tammy Coughlin; and nieces and nephews, Jacob Robb, Lexi Sullens, Thad Loomis, Matt Sullens, Kelsie Steele, Nicole Coulter, Ellen Sullens, Kurt Sullens, Luke Vaughn and wife Malia, Suzy Vaughn and special friend Jake, Nick Tannahill and wife Maria,  Jacque Withrow and husband Steve, and Amaya Tannahill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Mary; a brother, Steve Sullens; a sister, Nancy Wyman; niece, Kayla Sullens; and nephew, Scott Steele.

Darrell was a farmer by trade and worked for many years on his family’s farm in Iuka.  He was well known for preparing taxes for many years at H & R Block in Salem and Leymone Hardcastle in Flora.  He enjoyed playing Bingo, deer hunting, mushroom hunting, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, and playing chess.

Graveside services for Darrell Sullens will be held at Noon on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Shadden Cemetery in rural Iuka with Phil Martin officiating.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Iuka Fire Department and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem.  Online condolences and memories can be shared at www.CrouseFH.com
