The Nashville Police Department issued their weekly report and they responded to 13 calls and 2 accidents in the past week. Calls included thefts on the 300 block of East Chester Street, the 800 block of South Lafayette Street and the 400 block of East Walnut Street, welfare checks, criminal damage to property on the 900 block of West Saint Louis Street, a gas leak on the 500 block of West Chester Street, a domestic disturbance on the 300 block of West Saint Louis Street and fraud reports on the 17,000 block of Mockingbird Road and the 300 block of West Maple Street. They also recovered a stolen bicycle. On Saturday, they arrested 36-year old John Lemmerman of Nashville after a traffic stop at South Mill Street and East Lebanon Street. He was arrested for Driving While Having a License Suspended and cited for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. One accident was on Thursday on South Mill Street, 100 feet north of East Park Lane as a vehicle driven by 35-year old Megan Malawy struck the rear of a van driven by 40-year old Amber Frerker, both of Nashville. Both were taken to Washington County Hospital for injuries, but there was no mention of any citations be issued. On Saturday, there was a hit and run in the parking lot across from 219 East Elm Street. 25-year old Amanda Keller of Irvington parked in the lot and went to work. When she came out later, she found the car had significant front end damage.
