Mary Ann Walton Rollinson, 88, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 12:45 am March 5, 2026 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mount Vernon. She was born September 19, 1937 in Sedalia, Missouri to the late Clyde Robert and Beatrice Elizabeth (Smith) Hall. Mary first married Arthur Smith. She later married Charles Walton and he preceded her in death and then later married John Rollinson and he preceded her in death.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Patricia Dump and husband, Harold and Cynthia Perkins and husband, William; grandchildren, Angela Weemer and husband, Ronald, Denise Uhl and husband, Jason, Harold Dump II and wife, Sarah, Charla Hinkle, and Jennifer Stigers and husband, Tyron; great-grandchildren, Zackary Weemer, Jacob and Gabriel Uhl, Amber Hinkle, Zackary Hinkle and Alexys Farley, Vincent and Memphis Dump, Korben Parmalee, and Saniye and Brylin Stigers; great-great-granddaughter, Brinley Hinkle; sisters, Patricia Jennings and husband, Lavoid and Renea Franklin and husband, Rick; and sister-in-law, Carol Hall.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Mary was preceded in death by her children, Arthur Fredrick Smith and Cheryl Lynn Smith; and siblings, Betty Paul and David Hall.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A second Visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, Missouri. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia, Missouri. Memorials may be made in Mary’s honor to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
