The Mount Vernon Police Department is seeking information on an armed robbery that occurred at the Dollar General Store on South 10th Street on Monday at about 9:20 PM. The suspect is a white male in his early 40’s, 5’9″ and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing black hoodie and light colored blue jeans. The subject was armed with a handgun.
