It is the season to get fuel at a lower price, so says Analyst Harry Cooney with Growmark’s Energy, because of excess oil supplies in southern states, resulting in lower pricing.  He says to start stockpiling for all of next year.  Prices at the end of last week for the national average show it at $3.28 per gallon, while a month ago it was $3.27 compared to $3.41 a year ago.  In Illinois the average was $3.30 per gallon.
