The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took an Ashley man into custody after a disturbance on Christmas Eve.  According to the report, they responded to a call that 28-year old James A. Piotrowski had allegedly damaged some property in a house belonging to Gary Reichman with damage between $300 and $10,000.  Piotrowski allegedly punched Katherine Krupp, Richard Hay and Reichman.  He then allegedly drove off in a pick-up truck with a value of $500, belonging to Mark Mitchell without permission.  Piotrowski was apprehended and taken to the Washington County Jail, where he is on $20,000 bond on charges of Theft, Criminal Damage to Property, 3 counts of Battery and Driving While License is Revoked.
