There were power outages due to the storm that went through the listening area.  Also, there was a report of a power pole that fell on a shed at or near Road Ranger on Hen House Road in Okawville yesterday evening that led to a fire.  Earlier, there was rain and it came down very hard at times, as well as being mixed with hail.  Winds were in excess of 40 miles per hour and some power poles broke as well as some lines just snapped.  Ameren Illinois reported outages in the evening of 42 in Nashville, 21 in Oakdale, 666 in Okawville and 205 in DuBois.  Repairs were made throughout the night to get power back to these areas.  By 9 PM, nearly everyone in Okawville had their power restored.  Everyone else was back on later.
