The Nashville Police Department issued their weekly report for the past 2 weeks and they were very busy. During this past week, they were even busier. They responded to an unruly subject on the 700 block of East Holzhauer Drive and on the 400 block of East Maple Street, responded to a burglary on the 8,000 block of Reservoir Road, various welfare checks, a domestic dispute on the 100 block of East David Drive, the 100 block of West Alton Street and the 900 block of East Saint Louis Street, a report of identity theft at a residence on the 100 block of East Chester and the 1,700 block of Heathwood Drive, assisted the Highland Police Department in locating a burglary suspect in Nashville, property damage on the 200 block of West High Street, suspicious activity on the 500 block of West Elm Street and a dispute on the 800 block of West Maple Street. They also responded to an incident at the Nashville Invitational Tournament on Saturday as someone was ejected from the softball games and had to be removed. They also responded to the parking lot behind China Inn on Sunday, as juveniles were throwing rocks. They were made to pick all the rocks up. On Friday, there was report from 39-year old Klyde Smith of Byromville, Georgia, who reported that a real-estate website was showing a home on the 400 block of South Buhrman Street. They were requesting Smith transfer money to an account for a deposit. The thought this might be a scam, so he did not, but contacted the police department. There was an accident last Tuesday night on North Buhrman Street at East Walnut Street, as a car driven by 19-year old William Lloyd II of Nashville proceeded through a stop sign and struck a pick-up truck driven by a 17-year old from Carlyle. On Thursday morning, there was an accident on North Mill Street at East Elm Street as a pickup truck driven by 47-year old Cara Kurwicki rear-ended an SUV driven by 32-year old Kristopher Ripperda of Carlyle. There was also a fender bender at McDonald’s on Friday, as a semi-truck struck a parked vehicle. No one was injured in any of the accidents.
